VITCAS Heat Resistant Board Adhesive - 310ml - High Temperature Adhesive - Fireproof

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Heat resistant adhesive for use with high-temperature insulation boards, vermiculite boards, high-temperature plasterboards, and construction boards. Primarily for the joints between boards. The material can be used to fix boards to brickwork, blockwork, etc., as long as the wall is flat and the gap does not exceed 5mm otherwise Vitcas® HB60 can be used. The product is shipped in a caulking gun tube that contains 310ml.

APPLICATION

Surfaces to be joined must be clean, dry, and free of dust. The faces of construction board should be wetted before application. The material should be applied onto the surface of the boards or the edge of the boards with a 6mm tile comb to give a 3mm bed. The product is air setting and the setting time is affected by the bed thickness and the ambient temperature. At 20oC, at least 12 hours should be allowed for the setting. When the material is dry it can be sanded if required.

• HIGH TEMPERATURE ADHESIVE: This adhesive can resist up to 1350 degree Celsius, so it is used for securing the joints between insulation boards, vermiculite boards, high temperature plasterboards and construction boards.
• GOOD ADHESION PROPERTY: This adhesive has good adhesion and gap filing properties to seal or joint the materials such as insulation board or vermiculite boards
• HEAT RESISTANT: An adhesive which can withstand high amount of heat and can be used for securing various types of construction boards.
• STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: Store in a cool dry place between 5oC and 25oC. After use make sure that the lid is replaced properly. Under these conditions the shelf life should be a minimum of 12 months.
