The waxes and oils leave a fine layer on your skin to reduce friction from clothing etc, and the essential oils have anti-microbial and anti-bacterial quaities to help keep skin clean. Unlike other products such as petroleum jelly, our balms won’t block the pores of your skin allowing you to sweat but the layer of waxes on your skin stops the salts getting back onto the skin making it more sore and raw.
